Portal Sites support Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

Portal recently joined in with the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in support of Macmillan Cancer held simultaneously at all our sites in Glasgow, Leeds, Dearne Valley, Nottingham, Coventry and Chatham in support of our clients and in line with our own Corporate Social Responsibility Policy. The event was a resounding success with various amounts raised across the sites and added to the totals with our client, producing a grand total of over £2200.

Running alongside coffee, buns, cakes and pastries were raffles, guess the number of coffee beans and even trolley dollies!

The event was supported by our catering teams from ISS and with their smiling, happy and persuasive ways managing to part many a customer with worthwhile donations, special mention goes to Eileen in Tannochside, Gill in Dearne Valley, Chris in Sherwood Park, Bryan at Leeds and Francis at Coventry and of course the teams they work with.

Thanks also to the Site Account Managers and Coordinators Becki, Karen, Andy, Debbie, Derek, Beverley and Nikki at Portal for coordinating the events at each site and helping to make a difference.
